Purpose: To investigate hypothyroidism (referred to as hypothyroidism) and subclinical hypothyroidism (referred to as subclinical hypothyroidism) in patients with features of physical science for clinical treatment of the theoretical basis of dialectical.Object and Methods:The study involved 69 outpatients and inpatients (25 hypothyroidism, 44 subclinical hypothyroidism,22 males and 47 female, between 18 to 75years of age, mean age 46.17±10.12, duration between 1 month to 20 years, the average 5.62±5.31years)treatment of newly diagnosed or recovering from hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Endocrinology from May 2009 to December 2009. Association of Chinese Medicine in accordance with the standard "Chinese constitution classification and determination" (ZYYXH/T157-2009) to judge.Results: Physical classification of traditional Chinese medicine of hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism: Mild quality (17.39%),Qi deficiency quality (31.88%),yang deficiency quality (26.08),yin deficiency quality (0%), phlegm-dampness quality (4.3%),blood stasis quality (1.45%),dampness-heat quality (2.89%), Qi depression quality (10.14%), Special intrinsic quality (5.79%).Conclusion:The common physical types of traditional Chinese medicine are Qi deficiency quality31.88% and yang deficiency quality26.08% in patients of hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism. There are some distribution laws of the Chinese physical science about hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism.
