| Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment of convalescent ischemic stroke with Qi deficiency and Blood stasis.Materials and methods: 80 hospitalized patients with ischemic stroke were randomly divided into acupuncture and Chinese medicine group (acupuncture group) 40 cases and 40 cases of Chinese medicine therapy grope. The Patients received basic neurology treatment, while acupuncture group with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine group with only Chinese medicine. The course is 14 days. Clinical comprehensive efficacy and efficacy of TCM Syndrome were evaluated and record respectively before and after treatment. Neurological deficit (NIHSS) assessment points, activities of daily living (ADL) score and TCM syndrome score were record. Scores for each scale were compared between tow groups and comparison group, the data was obtained with SPSS15.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:1.Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine can improve the TCM syndrome of treatment of patient of patients who was convalescent ischemic stroke with Qi deficiency and blood stasis;2.Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine can effectively reduce symptoms in patients with neurologic impairment;3. Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine can improve the activities of daily living of patients.Conclusion:The results show that: acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine treatment of convalescent ischemic stroke with Qi deficiency and blood stasis is effective and recovery, and better than the group which was using traditional Chinese medicine only. It can effectively reduce neurologic impairment; improve the clinical symptoms, activities of daily living and the lives quality of patients. |
