| Ob j eot j ye: To investigate the relationship between polymorphism of insulin receptor (JNSR) gene Exon 8 with hypertensive nephrosclerosis and renal hypertension, the frequency of N2 allele of JNSR gene was determined in 38 normotensives and all hypertensives. Methods: Polymerase chain relation (PCR) combined with restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) was used to detect and analyse the NsiI polymorphism of INSR gene Exon 8 in 43 normal renal function of essential hypertension (EH-NRF); 44 renal failure of hypertensive nephrosclerosis (EI-1-CRF); 38 normal renal function of renal hypertension (RH-NRF); 45 renal failure of renal hypertension (RH-CRF) and 38 normal control subjects (NC). Result: The systolic blood pres:sure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of hypertensive groups ere significantly higher than those of normal control while other clinic features such as fasting blood glucose, body mass index and serum lipid level showed no difference between two groups; N2 allele frequency of INSR gene of EH-NRF and EH-CRF groups were higher than those of other groups, and the frequency of INSR gene of EH~.CRF also higher than that of EH-NRF0 Conclusion: NsiI polymorphism of JNSR gene was associated with EH-NRF and EH-CRF in Chinese population, especially in EH-CRF patients; N2 allele of JNSR gene may be one of genes in correlation with Chinese renal failure of hypertensive nephrosclerosis. |
