Object: observed the clinic effect of warm needling, which treated the arteriosclotic cerebral infarction(ACI) patients of the acute period and convalescence . Method: Use the means of sequence designed. SOpatients were given routine treatment, (named medicine group, for short: MD) Except of being given the treatment above, another 30 patients were also treated by warm needling, (named warm needling group, for short :WN).There are 15 patients which illed with hypertension in MD, ,and 13 patients in WN. All were given the corresponding medicine to control the blood pressure. Result: The the total and valid rate of WN is96. 67%, the total and valid rate of MD is 86. 67%. WN is more effectice than WD to imorove the symptom of TCM. WN is the same as WD to imorove the section of infarcted tissue of head. Conclusion: warm needling is effective to treat the ACI, which is the tape of combined the phlegm and the blood stasis.
