The dissertation relating to the non-operative procedures of lumbar disc herniation is composed of two parts. The second part sums up the clinic outcome of 173 cases of lumbar disc herniation that were dealt with non-operative procedures (traction, massotherapy, western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine,et al). The result indicates that 45 patients had an excellent result (25.9%),71 patients a good result (41.1%),43 patients a fair (25.0%) and 14 patients had a poor result (8%).
