Gradient Cooling, Cryopreservation Of Articular Cartilage Allograft Transplantation Experimental And Clinical Studies

Objective:To observe the allograft articular cartilage biological characteristic by hypothermic freezer prexervation.Methods:Twenty_four New Zealand rabbits were randonly divided into three groups, the articalar cartilage defent was filled with grading cooling and hypothermic freezer preservation . After transplantion, those rabbits were killed in six, twielve, tweity-four weeks. Those articalar cartilage were observed by functional, gross specimen, histology.In clinic, we amplied the articular cartialg that had been hypothermic freezer preservation and gradient cooling to remedy the patient for joint and articular cartialage injury .After operation,we observed the cartilage shape, joint active and the joint space thought X-ray. The patients results were assessed by HSS system.Resultsrsix weeks,the allograft articular cartilage have normal-shaped , chomdrocytes dispose nearly regularly;twielve weeks, the allograft articular cartilage's shape was similar to the normal articular cartilage, the repaired tissue united with the cartilage;tweity-four weeks, some of articular cartilage have disgenerated, its were united with articular cartilage well.In clinic , we find almost recover the funtion of the allgroft articular, joint active and nomal lives.Conclusion:It was a therapy methods to healing large articular cartilage defect by gradient cooling and hypothermic freezer preservation Hypothermic freezer preservation and gradient cooling can make the cartialage keeping activity. Hypothermic freezer preservation and gradientcooling's cartialage can reserve the injuryed joint function in a way.
