| This is the first pioneer and systematic study on microscopic identification of animal drugs' remnant hairs (such as seta, hair or plumule) all over the world. The objective of it is to identificate animal drugs more accurately by observing the microscopic characteristics of their remnant hairs.The study followed the works done by the last year' s graduate. The experiment materials involved 10 species of insects and little animal drugs with seta , 3 species of animal drugs with hair , 2 species of animal drugs with plumule. In the topic, the remnant hairs of the drugs were thoroughly studied on microscopic identification, taking about more than 2000 pictures of the microscopic characteristics of the drugs, extracting massive microscopic characteristics parametes of the remnant hairs by making use of the measure software , such as the length of seta, the diameter of hair shaft, medulla index number, the section length of rabs, the length of thorn on the node. The result of the investigation has made clear that great disparity appeared in color, shape, surface wrinkle, length, diameter, medulla index number, etc. among all the remnant hairs of the drugs .It can be confirmed from the result that the clear differences exist in the microscopic characteristics of the remnant hairs of different species of the animal or insect drugs. It is scientific and feasible to study and identificate the animal or insect drugs by means of the different microscopic characteristics of their remnant hairs. The method has great value in identification of the animal drugs with remnant hairs. The results of the study provide important referance basis for the identification of common adulterated or falsified animal or insect drugs and formulating the quality standard of patent medicine contained animal or insect drugs. The study also open up a new method used to identificate Chinese material medica and make a valuable compensation for the theory of the authentication of Chinese traditional medicine. |
