Modified Yiwei Tang Treatment Of Pediatric Spleen And Stomach Deficiency Anorexia Clinical Efficacy Observed

Objective: To observe the curattive effect of modified Yiweitang on anorexia of the Spleen and Stomach Yin deficient type.Methods: 65 cases from clinic measured up to the take-in standard were randomly devided into treatment group and comparison group according to the ration of 3:1, namely 50 in the former and 15 in the latter. Treated the treament group with modified Yiweitang, and the comparison group with Erbao granule, with the dosage of both group decided according to age. three times a day, Four weeks later, two kinds of comparisons were made on curative effect of the disease as well as syndrome, one was between the two groups and the other within treatment group. The curative effect of Yiweitang on Children's anorexia of Yin deficiency of Spleen and Stomach was estimated by the comparisons.Results:1. Analisis of the baseline: The comparison of two groups in sex, age, course and degree of disease was statistically indistinguishable (P>0.05).2. The contrast of treatment group on integral of primary and subsidiary symptoms was statistically different .And so are the integral of the same symptom in different time of visit. But it took a different time fot the two on the appearance of a notable difference.3. Curative effect: For the treatment group: 36 recovered, 12 had obvious effect, 2 had effect, the total effective rate up to 94%.For the comparison group: 8 recovered, 3 had obvious effect, 2 had effect, the total effective rate up to 86.7%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups (P>0.05).4.
