| This thesis includes two parts: (1) The researching advances on MS (Metabolic syndrome) (review) (2) Clinical observation on treatment of MS by HuaYuJiangZhuoHeji.The review includes two parts. In the first part, the reason why MS happens and its pathogenesis, differential diagnosis of MS, cure of MS with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) were discussed. Advances on research and treatment of MS with TCM were reviewed systemically. The author analyzed the indication of MS with representative opinions and the progress on treatment of MS with TCM. From the cure with single herb or its efficacious composition and compound prescriptions, the author summarized the current shortcomings and respected the future of treatment MS with TCM. In the second part of the review, a summary is made on the history,definition,diagnostic standard,etiology, pathogenesis, investigation,mechanism,relation with other diseases and treatment of MS in modern medicine in recent years.In the clinical study section, 59 cases of MS in our hospital were divided into two groups randomly to identify the effect of HuaYuJiangZhuoHeji, a kind of compound prescription. The patients in control group were treated with Metformin Tablets and the patients in experiment group were treated with HuaYuJiangZhuoHeji. The effect of HuaYuJiangZhuoHe ji was analysised and evaluated. The finding shows that HuaYuJiangZhuoHej i has an effect to reduce the clinical symptom, body mass index, blood sugar level before and after dinner, Triglyeride , C-reactive protein and insulin resistance index . HuaYuJiangZhuoHe ji also has an effect to improve HDL in blood. In reducing clinical symptoms, lowing Triglyeride and CRP, the effect of HuaYuJiangZhuoHeji is superier to Metformin Tablets. Reducing body weight, reducing blood sugar, Adjusting Triglyeride, reducing C-reactive protein and adjusting insulin resistance maybe the main effect of HuaYuJiangZhuoHe ji on prevention and treatment of MS. |
