| Objective:To observe the clinical application value of colon hydrotherapy and the traditional Chinese medicine JianPiHuaShi fluid (JPHS) retention-enema in the treatment of children functional constipation(deficiency-weakness of spleen-QI).Methods:According to the diagnosis standard, we select 60 functional constipation cases and divided them into two groups randomly, each of them contained 30 cases. Control group was treated only with colon hydrotherapy. Treatment group was treated with colon hydrotherapy and the traditional Chinese medicine JianPiHuaShi fluid (JPHS) retention-enema. One treatment was given per three days and a course of treatment had five vices 。The changes of primary clinical symptoms and signs in all cases were observed and given evaluation after treatmentResult:1. The recovery rate of control group is 30%, the total effective rate is 70%:which of Treat me nt group is 50% and 90%. By means of statistics analysis, there is statistics difference between two groups on clinical effect (p<0.05). It states that the clinic effect of treatment group is better than that of Control group.2. Evaluate traditional Chinese medicine symptoms after the treatment. The total effective rate of control group is 57% and the recovery rate is 13%; which of treatment group is 87 % and 30%. By means of statistics analysis, there is statistics difference between two groups on clinical effect (p<0.05) .It states that the clinic effect of treatment group is better than that of control group.3.
