Study On Points Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion Treatment Of Constipation

This thesis is composed of two sections:document summary and clinical research.1.Document summaryThere are three parts in this summary:TCM,Western Medicine and Acupuncture.The TCM summary is generalized briefly.In order to research the ancient documents better,I traced various kinds of constipation names through TCM history and then organized the classifying of constipation both in ancient and modern times.The Western Medicine summary not only sets out the pathogen,pathogenesis,classifying and treatment of constipation,but also emphasizes the side effects of various kinds of Western medicineThe Acupuncture summary is the core of the first part,I discussed in detail every acupoint's usage for constipation treatment,both ancient and modern;as well as summarized the records of treating constipation from acupuncture teaching materials.Through modern medical data research,I summarized and categorized different methods of treating constipation today,after which I made a preliminary summary of all the acupoints used in TCM.2.Clinical researchThis research is based on the clinical research made in the document summary.I summarized all the acupoints which are used frequently for constipation treatments in my supervisor's clinical work, and then set out the acupoints for different kinds of types and syndromes.At last,I added two classical medical cases to explain the good effects and to back up the summary that I did above.
