Selaginella genus plants,which from Selaginnellaceae,lycopodineae, is an important part in the plant word.There are 700 species in Selaginella genus all over the word,and more than 60 species widespread in our country.Among them more than 20 species can be used to treat diseases.In recent years,with the in-depth investigation of the new species detection and pharmacology research,Selaginella genus plants subjected to more and more concerns of Chinese and Foreign researchers. Modern pharmacologic research found that the biflavonoids coming from Selaginella genus plants have obvious effect on anti-tumor and antivirus and they are potential anti-cancer and antivirus medicine.Selaginella involvens Spring,a medicinal plant from Selaginella genus,is used to treat jaundice,gonorrhea,bleeding and hepatitis.To explore the medical value of S.involvens Spring,we focused on the isolation and purification of lipo-soluble chemical compounds,and explored active constituents and the pharmacological mechanism of it.In this thesis,the chemical constituents of the extract of ethanol from the whole plant of S.involvens Spring were studied,13 compounds were isolated on the chromatogram column of silica gel,polyamide and pured with Sephadex LH-20,re crystal etc.on the basis of analysis of spectroscopic data and measuring of physic-chemical characters,like 1H NMR,13C NMR,DEPT,HSQC,1H-1H COSY,IR,MS etc,the chemical structure of 10 compounds were confirmed,including 3 biflavonoids,1 steroidal xylosalkaloid,2 steroids,2 alkyl acids,1 triterpene,1 steroidal saponin.The method of water-steam distillation was used to exact the essential oils from three Selaginella genus plants(S.involvens Spring,S. uncinata Spring,S.doederleinii Hieron),the qualitative and quantitative analysis were conducted with GC-MS.There were 27 kinds of identical substances in the oils.And the essential oil constituents from them were mainly higher alkanes,alkenes,alcohols,ketones,phenols and organic acid. In this thesis,I have studied the electrochemistry of three biflavonoids,using pencil graphite electrodes by the cyclic voltammetry method.And I have detected the polarization curve of biflavonoids in different pH of PBS.The pharmic action corresponding to the active components isolated from S.involvens Spring and the classify to the plant from the point of photochemistry will be explained by the result of this thesis,which will also provide value on developing and modernization of natural medical resources in our mother land.
