| Objective:Analyse the relationship between the Damp-heat-accumulate Spleen and oxidative stress levels in the newly diagnoisd type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to provide some evidences in order to guide the clinical treatment. Methods:Choose 80 patients who have been in hospital in the Af-filiated Hospital of Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine Endocrinology Department and also were newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes as investigation objects. They were divided into Damp-heat-accumulate Spleen, deficiency of both Qi and Yin,y-in and yang deficiency, blood stasis causing water retention, extreme heat due to deficiency of yin and blood stasis obst-ructing the collaterals.Among them we chose the Damp-heat- accumulate Spleen and deficiency of both Qi and Yin as the Research Subjects and then tested serum malondialdehyde (MDA) superoxide dismutase (SOD) of them to compare the differen-ce with the healthy people.Result:1.Comparing with the normal control group, the newlydiagnosed type 2 diabetic patients'SOD activity was significantly l-ower (P Qi and Yin Deficiency(P0.05).The MBI of damp spleen group was significantly higher than the normal group and the Qi and Yin deficiency group(P |
