Tainan Mandarin Study

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is regarded as the natural mine of Chinese dialect. There are Mandarin dialect of southwest,Yue dialect,Hakka dialect,Pinghua,Xiang dialect,Min dialect and so on.Southwest Mandarin dialect is one of them. In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region the geographic distribution of Southwest Mandarin dialect is broad, and the use population is large .Because Southwest Mandarin dialect in different areas is different, it is necessary to study on Southwest Mandarin dialect of different areas. On the basis of overall statistical dialect survey, the paper particularly describes the dialect from the three perspectives of phone, lexical and grammar to offer linguistic materials and arguments for Southwest Mandarin dialects study.This article mainly discusses the sound, and it includes seven parts: foreword; the geographic population, history and language survey in Fu Cheng town; sound; lexis; grammar; history levels. The First part is the introduction about relative materials. The Second is to analyze the sound system of Southwest Mandarin dialect in Fu Cheng town from initials, finals and tones. The Third is to analyze the lexical system of Southwest Mandarin dialect in Fu Cheng town from the word-formation features. The Fourth is to make a simple description about the grammar and presents some grammar examples. The Fifth generally introduces the historical levels which sound and lexis embody . The Sixth part is the language materials about Southwest Mandarin dialect in Fu Cheng town.
