Description Of The Analysis On The Fragment Of Terror In The Children's Literary Works

The esthetic system of children' s literature is cubic and comprehensive, in which the dominant esthetic traits are included as well as the non-dominant esthetic element. The essay is an attempt to study the horror element restricted in the esthetic field. By analyzing the horror fragmental description in the children's literary works, and comparing it with that in adult's literature, the author presents the typical look and summarizes the esthetic characters after horror element melts into children's literature, and introduces writers to restrict the horror degree of children' s literary works to a reasonable and secure range.The essay falls into three sections. In section one, giving sufficient materials, the author classifies the horror fragmental description in children's literal works into three categories according to their horror sources i.e. horror behaviors, horrible images, and horrible feelings. In section two, the author illustrates the characteristics of horror fragmental description. The horror element in literature is different from that in psychology. And there is great distinction between the horror element in children' s literature and that in adult's literature. It takes the form of games, based on the bright and upward human nature orientation. In section three, confronted with the new tendency that the power and force of horror element in present children' s literary works are constantly strengthened, the author puts forward four writing techniques to control horror degree: repetition, hint, entity and closed ending.
