During his life span, Domenico Scarlatti composed 555 pieces of keyboard sonata. He recapitulated what had accomplished during his time in the musical creation and pianism for the fortepiano and made a development in those respects. But until now most research literatures have focused on Scarlatti's sonatas in the perspective of fortepiano to explore styles and performablility of his writ, few literatures on how to perform his writ on an accordion are available. For the reason, this article has made a catalogue analysis for the styles of Scarlatti's writs and summarized the structural harmony and methodology he used in his sonatas and composition. The author also made a research in detail on how to understand and master the use of diacritical panel, wind chest, and key-touching while playing Scarlatti's writs on an accordion, with suggestions for performing and teaching Scarlatti's sonatas hoping more attention to be put on unders tanding and studying the trait of playing his writ on an accordion, especially a free-base-one, to take fully advantages of the instrument so that people may have more opportunities to appreciate the diversified styles of Scarlatti's sonatas performed on a different musical instrument.
