Scarlatti Sonatas' Accordion Performance Styles And Its Skills Study

Domenico Scarlatti is one of the most creative musicians whose period is between Baroque and pre-classical times. With Bach and Handel,Domenico Scarlatti put the keyboard music of Baroque period into the peak. Through his creating of keyboard music,which is in the time of Baroque,he leaves us abundant treasure and endless inspiration. In all his life, Scarlatti has 555 keyboard sonatas in all, which subject matter reaches wide range, as we can say his subject matter is a huge treasury in Europe. To study and play the Scarlatti's sonatas is very important for us to grasp the musical style of Baroque.Recent years, in the contests of international accordion field, all Scarlatti's sonatas have been become the required lists. In many accordion executants'concerts, even in some amateurish accordion passing-level teaching materials, we can find the existence of Domenico Scarlatti's sonatas. Meanwhile, Domenico Scarlatti's sonatas are getting more and more intentions, and have become the required subject for accordion executants. Currently, papers on Domenico Scarlatti's performances ways are major in piano; however, papers on analyzing and studying accordion are less. Accordion is a very popular instrument in china, especially with the entrance and its popularization of the new structure accordion, Scarlatti sonatas' unique charm is gradually found and accepted by the fans of accordion. This paper tries to focus on the music style of Scarlatti sonatas, and to study and deeper explore the Scarlatti sonatas, which are performed by accordion.Generally, this paper is divided into three parts: first, it briefly introduces Domenico Scarlatti and his musical styles. Introduce from his creating background, ways of creating sonatas and its characteristics, the styles of sonatas and the performance characteristics these four parts. This paper aims to get the totally understanding of his works, from the analysis of Scarlatti's sonatas. Second, on basic of deeply analyzing the musical characteristics of Scarlatti's sonatas, this paper makes a thorough discussion of accordion performance styles and skills, which is combined with the characters of accordion, and expatiates it from the bellows, ornaments, and treble switch. Third, because the most Scarlatti's accordion performance lists are from piano lists, it is bound to compare the skills of both the accordion and the piano. From the point of plucking keys, the writer makes a painstaking distinguish and a detailed discussion of plucking keys from the time of playing the accordion.The writer hopes that, from his painstaking study of the Scarlatti sonatas, he can arouse everyone's attention and thought to the Scarlatti sonatas' accordionization.
