Music creation of every era has the distinctive characteristics that different fromother times for the reason that it is inseparable from the social development, religion,geography of the era, as well as the author’s personality. The famous Italian composer,virtuoso harpsichord Domenico Scarlatti (1685——1757)who has the most creativepersonality in music, is a Prolific composer of the late Baroque and the formerclassical period. His mainly focus on keyboard music, which left us with a veryprecious music literature and research materials.Refined and elegant, as well as with their short length, various forms,Scarlatti’s555sonatas is a change to people’s cognitive thinking and creative thinkingto the Sonata. Scarlatti broke new ground to the development of the sonata with hisunique creation personality and creation style which is full of clear and beautifulMelody, as well as rich harmony. With the changing of times, what’s more amazing isthat these refined and elegant Sonatas have become rare musical treasures forkeyboard instrument performers to improve playing skills. And also, they are verysuitable for keyboard accordion playing. Famous Japanese accordion player Yue-Sai’swinning in the International Accordion Competition fully illustrates this point.Therefore, for the past two decades, Scarlatti sonata occupies a fairly heavy weightboth in the International Accordion Competitions and solo concerts by Accordionplayers, as well as in accordion teaching materials at Famous musical institutions inthe world. Scarlatti Sonata has become more and more popular to accordion lovers ofall ages, and it has become an important element to test an accordion player’s skills.To make the accordion player to be able to better interpret Scarlatti sonata, the presentpaper mainly discusses Scarlatti’s life, creative style, and creative features andchooses several issues in his works style to make further research.This paper consists of three parts. The first chapter is about Scarlatti’s life andthe creative style of his Sonata: a brief introduction of his life, background and styleof his sonatas. The second chapter is an analysis of the three Scarlatti sonatas music:starting from the music ontology of Scarlatti C major, E major, d minor musicontology, to make a comprehensive analysis of its musical structure, tone tonality,melody, texture and other aspects. The third chapter is several questions that the keyboard accordion player should pay attention to when playing Scarlatti sonatas:based on a detailed analysis of the Scarlatti sonatas, mainly investigate and illustrateaccordion performing skills, in combination with analysis of characteristics ofaccordion, mastering of musical styles, controlling of bellows breath, division of thetouch key categories, playing characteristics of ornament and application of Variabledamper.
