Mendelssohn's music is characterized for the excellence, perfection, mildness, and flexibility, which is like the "Wanyue Xiaoling " in Song Prose of China. This music style reaches the highest realm in 48 Songs Without Words. Although Mendelssohn's works are not a lot, his 48 Songs Without Words makes a good contribution to the Romantic in the piano garden, some of which have become world famous with good performance value and teaching value and become the favors of piano learners.Although this piano solo collection contains neither the abstruse and difficult skills nor the theatrical conflict, it forms an active music mode with the pronounced lyricism, exquisite melody, clear skills and pictorial color.Songs Without words, containing various music with various modes, feelings and styles in the different difficulty levels, enlightens effectively performer's imagination and performance ability . This work is used in the piano teaching, from which the learners could get the performance skills and playing skills. Six significant songs are selected and interpreted in the aspects of style, music form and performance skill. Through the analysis and research of these significant works, the performers will understand the music connotation of Songs Without Words, get the technical skills, and master the style of works accurately in all aspects for research and analysis in the education.
