| Flying apsaras as a exotic flower in the art of the Dunhuang mural isdistinctive in numerous subjects on the art of Buddhism. This thesis is dividedinto three sections. The origin and the localization process of Flying apsaras inthe Dunhuang caves are discussed in the first section. And the second sectionexplains the performance of it, so to speak, from what aspects it reflects that the"Flying apsatas " in the art if Dunhuang caves is not merely the artistic imageoriginating from alien land, but also the dramatic recreation of the Chinesetraditional art. And in the last section, the factors in many aspects involved inthe localization process are approached in particular, and its primary factor isanalyzed thoroughly.The research is obtained from the documentary collection, and explored thedescriptive content on the frescoes of the Dunhuang caves from geographyhistory, religious scriptures and ancient books, and then has a contrast andquotation in addition. What one has learned from sturdy is that, the Flyingapsaras of the Dunhuang caves not only creates the spiritual cohesion of theland of Ultimate Bliss, but its own significance is not limited to the appearanceof "beauty", while in fact flying apsaras substantially was entrusted andfunction to enrich the connotation of the Buddhist art, and also and inherentvalue with ep(?)ch-making significance in cultural and artistic history, whichfulfils a perfect from when the Chinese are pursuing the perfect temperamentand personality in spiritual sphere.
