Piano teaching is the basic subject in music educational area. For the students in normal schools, the study of piano is not only a way to boost their general qualities and culture, but also a skill they are supposed to master. At present, piano classes in Shandong Normal Colleges are mostly in the forms of digital piano collective teaching, which is a kind of teaching patter comprising traditional piano teaching, modern techniques, and collective classes. This teaching pattern is not only propitious to the teachers'regulation and control of the class ,the students'feed-back, the diversification of teaching information, but also propitious to the students'active taking part in and discussion, and the communion of teaching resources. Also, this teaching pattern is conformance to the trends of our country's music teaching reforms, showing the characteristics of the normal schools and boost its efficiency as well as its modernization.With the implement of Music Courses Criterion, the digital piano collective teaching will be directly affected by the new reform of basic teaching courses. Under the new courses concept, the digital piano collective teaching is no more a teaching of skills or technique ,it has become a kind of music culture. Its humanism, pluralism, colligation and creation have been clearly put forward. The new Courses Criterion has its new concept, new target and new contents, gives a higher and all-round requirements to the digital piano collective teaching.The author made a study of the present situation of digital piano teaching, expatiated its meaning and value, stated in detail that under the guidance of new courses concept, the digital piano collective teaching should stick to the principles of unification of science and education, combination of theory and practice , and the teacher's position as a guiding role while the students'role as an active part. The author also introduced 5 strategies, which are grouping strategies, systemic lecturing strategies, cooperation training strategies, opening classes strategies, and collective comment and evaluation strategies. The reform of new courses is first a reform of teachers'educational notion, teaching behavior and teaching roles. So the author discussed another issue as what is the teachers'role under the guidance of new course concept, pointing out that the improvement of teachers'qualities will make great significance to the digital piano collective teaching.The research and investigation of digital piano collective teaching meets the need of new times and new situation. In the above process of research, the construction of theory and the operation of practice are still not strong. As a result, we must stand on a high altitude, try our best to make a careful research on the connotation of piano classes, teaching strategies and teaching practice. These are the keys to the development and success of the reform of new courses. In the thesis, the author put forward some primary opinions, and believe that under constant hard working, the digital piano collective teaching will become more scientific and reasonable.
