Modern Chinese Study, "preposition Framework

Preposition framework is a new concept advanced in recent years. It is used very frequently in actual language use. However, rarely has it been studied individually.This article initially puts forward the concept of"用"preposition framework and subclassifies the framework. Specifically it sorts"用"and similar words; objects of"用"preposition framework according to their lexical categories, formation and semantic features; and individual postpositions of preposition framework. Thus, four subclassifications of"用"framework are obtained:"用_1a","用_1b","用_2a","用_2b".This article offers a comparative analysis among frameworks and between frameworks and phrases. It reaches a conclusion of regularity from syntactical, semantic and pragmatic aspects, which helps find out the difference among frameworks and between frames and phrases and teach the language.This article initially compares"用……来"framework and"用"phrase on the pragmatic level, pointing out the implying effect of"用……来"framework from psychological view. Initial comparison is also made between"用……来说"and"拿……来说"which are structurally similar, indicating the implemental nature and implying effect of the former and the aspect nature and topic effect of the latter.Finally, this article observes the formation mechanism and time of"用"framework diachronically.
