Modern Realism

Peng Yanjiao's unique poetry style can not be separated from his unique poetics. "Modern realism" is an innovative concept, which proposed by Peng Yanjiao, it also inheritance and development from Baudelaire' s poetics. However, research on them is not enough till now. Therefore, this article will discuss Baudelaire on the impact of Peng Yanjiao's spirit and poetics from a comparative point of view.Thesis is divided into three chapters:The first chapter "unique poetry and Poetics" introduce Peng Yanjiao pre-creation has been appeared different from "Qiyue"- his early introspection and modern sense budding. At the late creation, Peng Yanjiao formed his own unique style. At the same time, he proposed an innovative concept "Modern realism", he intended to blend modernism and realism together well.Chapter II "Baudelaire on the impact of Peng Yanjiao" at first talked about Baudelaire's poetics. Baudelaire explored a new way for language expression- "Correspondences" , it interpreted the true from the heart- poet's painful thinking of social reality. Baudelaire is not only a person who reveals the human suffering, but also a humanitarian. In this sense, Peng Yanjiao inherited poetics of Baudelaire and proposed "Modern realism". In Peng Yanjiao's view, modern poetry is painful thinking, and with a strong sense of historical responsibility.Chapter III "the source of influence" at first reveal two reasons of Peng Yanjiao approached Baudelaire: personal temperament and the times. From the angle of acceptance and variation to discuss the degree of acceptance and Peng Yanjiao beyond Baudelaire. "Modern realism" is more freedom of expression than "Correspondences" and it pays the higher attention on human beings.
