Qibao Town Dialect Voice

The topic of this thesis is "Research of Qibao Town's Pronunciation". We investigate Qibao Town's pronunciation entirely, describe the system of pronunciation through examination on the spot, and compare it with other regions' nearby. Then we get the differences and common points. The thesis includes four chapters.In Chapter 1, we introduce Qibao Town's historical evolution, geographical features, and usage of language. Based on it, we decide the research object, theoretical basis, and research methods, then explain the writing of the thesis.In Chapter 2, through the summary of the system of Qibao Town's consonant, vowel, and tone, we get the characteristic of Qibao Town's pronunciation, and table of homonyms. Describe the peculiarities of Qibao Town's dialect.In Chapter 3, we compare phonetic system of Qibao Town's dialect with Xinzhuang's and Songjiang's through consonant, vowel, and tone, in order to get the conclude of the connection and differences between the dialects.Chapter 4 is a summary. It includes Qibao Twon's phonetic system, and the reasons of Qibao Town's phonetic statement, which are connected with history, geography, and development of pronunciation.We confirm Qibao Town's phonetic characteristics, the pronunciation, and language's development of Qibao and regions nearby.
