"WAMYOURUIJYUSYOU" is a dictionary compiled by Yuan Shun in the period of ChengPing, as historical materials to know the society,customs,practices and systems in that period. It plays an important role in Japanese literature, Japanese linguistics and Japanese history. On the classification of vocabulary, it has been greatly influenced by "Er Ya", which is the earliest dictionary compiled from the Warring States Period and gradually into a full book in the former period of Han dynasty. It has been regarded as classification dictionary, dictionary and books, however, there are also many falsifying and errors in the notes after into a full book.In "WAMYOURUUYUSYOU", the direct vocabulary quotation from "Er Ya" accounted for 15. "Er Ya", as a Chinese quotation source of vocabulary ranks the third following closely "Tang Yun" "Materia Medica." Therefore, "Er Ya" stays a crucial status as a quotation book in " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU ". While, quotation part in " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU " from "Er Ya" differed a lot from the present "Er Ya". Therefore, it is very necessary to figure out the quotation vocabulary in " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU " from "Er Ya".However, concerned research carried out in China mainly centered on the comparison and test on the Chinese references and books which have quotation relationships with "Er Ya". On the contrary, relative research on the quotations of " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU " from "Er Ya" is relatively rare.Therefore, this thesis plans to do a thorough comparison on the quotation part of "WAMYOURUUYUSYOU " from "Er Ya", making a full comparison and evaluation in order to explore the original form of "Er Ya". This paper is structured as follows:The first part, a brief introduction to previous researches and possible problems in "Er Ya".The second part, a brief introduction to previous researches on " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU".The third part, a detailed explanation to the research method and analysis samples as well as the findings and conclusions. This part will mainly focus on the differences of quotation vocabulary between " WAMYOURUUYUSYOU " and "Er Ya" respectively in terms of shape, Italy and notes, which is hopefully to find out the original content of "Er Ya".Finally, the future problems needed to be addressed is raised out.
