Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story has a long history and spread widely with rich contents. Most of it traced friendliness and conflict between brothers to re-create the life and express people's feeling and attitude for life and esthetic psychology.In this paper the author regards Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story as the research object, using the methodology of text analysis and comparative research to analyze the plot, type, motif of the story.This paper consists of introduction, main body, conclusions three parts.In introduction the author defines the concept of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story and arranges the research status of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story and presents the study method and source of material.In chapter I the author analyzes the type of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story. In this part the author simply discusses the type studies of the folklore. Based on this, the author divides the story into type of friendliness, type of older brother hurt the brother, type of the brother hurt the older brother three basic types and elaborates the plot and classifies the sub-type of the story.In Chapter II, the author comparatively analyzes the motif of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story. In this paper the author comparatively analyzes the motif of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story with the story of dead body and the Chinese Folk Tales of Brothers Story and discusses the relationship between Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story and the story of dead body and the Chinese Folk Tales of Brothers Story.In conclusions, the author form a point of view of the plot, type and motif of Mongolian Folk Tales of Brothers Story to summarize and generalize the above contents.
