Citizenship education is vital to China's modernization, especially the revival of the nation. With the reform of new curriculums goes on, history and society Course went into the classroom in middle school. It is located in citizen education.This course is integrated history, humanistic geography and other related contents of humanities and social sciences. It is help for students to understand history of our country correctly, participate in social life actively. The students can form strong patriotic emotion and social responsibility through learning and preliminary form a correct world outlook on life and values.This dissertation used many kinds of research methods comprehensively, such as document analysis, case analysis and interviewing method. It discussed and studied the citizen education implementation in history and society Course from two aspects of theory and practice. The author summarized the citizen education implementation effect in the curriculum, analyzed the existing problems and put forward some suggestions and countermeasures. The author is aimed to to summarize experience, further promote history and society course in the development of the curriculum reform and make beneficial exploration at the same time for citizen education in practice.
