Work alienation has been the focus in social and psychological fields in resent decades. This study includes three part, we explored the construction of work alienation of the young teachers ,working in Chongqing Colleges and Universities, as a hypothesized model using Explore Factor Analysis(EFA), and examined the construct validity. The second part, we analyzed the difference of work alienation in all personal background variables. All analyses were based on data from Colleges and Universities in Chongqing: The Chongqing University, The Southwest University, Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Medical college, Changjiang normal college, Chongqing Nanfang Translators College, Chongqing creation vocational College.Main conclusions of this study are as following. (1) The construction of work alienation of the young teachers ,working in Chongqing Colleges and Universities, consists of 5 factors: social isolation, normlessness, meaningless, powerlessness, and self-estrangement. Goodness of fit statistics indicate good fit to the observed dada. (2) Results show that social isolation is significantly different on martial statuses, normlessness is significantly different on professional post and spot, the teachers of gender and professional post show significant differences on powerlessness, the teachers of educational level and spot show significant differences on meaningless, and self-estrangement is different on age and organization category.
