Mother-tongue is the first language, a original language, the national standard language, or a particular dialect. In this paper,"mother-tongue education"refers to the language teaching in Chinese—the mother tongue and the first language."English Teaching"refers to the representative of the non-English mother-tongue teaching, the second language or the foreign language teaching.With the increasing interaction of world economy, the economic and cultural exchanges more and more, it is necessary for Chinese students to acquire the skills of using foreign language. Because of the use of English as one of the world's largest languages and most widely used languages, English is one of the compulsory subjects of compulsory education. All teachers and students have paid great attention to the subject. In Chinese students'study, work and life, Chinese and English are both of utmost importance. How to improve the efficiency of Chinese and English teaching and make the students in compulsory education to grasp the two languages better has become an urgent problem.At the current stage of China's compulsory education, English teaching and mother tongue teaching is almost in a state of fragmentation. However people have paid more and more attention to the comparison of different types of language education nowadays. People explore the common characteristics of language education and the differences between different language educations in order to achieve the greater efficiency in language education. Some researchers had compared the mother tongue education with the foreign langue education, though these studies always found in the study of foreign language, and the purpose is always compared to absorb the experience of mother tongue teaching, and then improve foreign language teaching. There is seldom interaction research of the mother tongue education and foreign language education, especially the impact of English education upon the mother-tough education. This article is from the point of mother-tongue education, and then studies the interaction of two courses across-the-board. Hope to integrate the other subjects'successful experiences of innovation and exploration of Chinese education, and with the vision of the dialectical search for more effective and feasible mother tongue and English teaching methods.This article makes a comparative study on the main body of learning, curriculum goals, course content, teaching methods and teaching environment from the point of mother-tongue teaching. Then identify the differences and similarities of Mother-tongue teaching and English teaching. Then explore the methods of integrating the Mother-tongue teaching and English teaching and its feasibility and necessity. On this basis, this article discusses the influence of the mother-tongue in English, analysis the inevitability of mother-tongue intervention in the English language teaching and explores the active role of the mother-tongue language teaching in English teaching. This article also devotes much attention to the variety of English teaching methods and detailed expatiates and analyses it, and finds the affection of these teaching methods to the mother-tongue language teaching, in order to identify areas worthy of study in English teaching.The master's thesis studies on the interaction of mother-tongue language teaching and English teaching. this subject is the stage of compulsory education and the teaching of English mother-tongue teaching. The main survey methods are investigation, history, compare and so on. The paper also embodies the three values: innovating the subject, improving the theory and guiding the practice.As the first Master's thesis interaction of the mother-tongue language teaching and the English language teaching, with the comparison and analysis, the following two points are explained in this article: First of all, to intervene in the English mother-tongue teaching has positive effects. It supports the point that the effect is better using mother-tongue language in English teaching than simply using English. Secondly, the English teaching methods has positive significance for improving the mother-tongue language teaching. Many English teaching methods, especially the grammar teaching methods can be used for mother-tongue language teaching. Chinese teachers should use these teaching methods effectively and reasoningly.
