As a main form of the new internet Q&A services,Social ask-answer community, is the product of the development of the internet and the diversified and personalized internet services. Netizens acquire not only knowledge and information,but also a new plateform for socialization and knowledge extension.This eassy initiates from Chinese first social Q&A community-Zhihu,studies its developmental strategies under the related theories of journalism and communication. deveopmental modes and strategies of this typical social Q&A community will be analysed and concluded with supplemented analysis on the other emerging Chinese social Q&A community,so as to acquire a comprehensive and valuable Chinese social Q&A community development direction,to explore the points to be improved in characteristic and branding of Q&A community,finally some valuanle suggestions on the growth of Chinese internet would be proposed.The chapter one is the introduction,mainly states the researching background, significance,researching contents,researching methods and ideas of social Q&A community,makes an overview of Chinese social Q&A community, clarifys the origin, concept and characteristics of it.The second part of this article contains chapter 2 and chapter 3.Zhihu is taken as the research object,and its status quo and the strategies at present stage is analysised in detail, in terms of its content strategies, structure strategies and product strategies. And Zhihu’s characteristics is clarified further through the instance.As a typical representative of Chinese social Q&A community, Zhihu has a mature develop framework and sufficient development condition, it represents the best level of the Chinese social Q&A community and inherited foreign social Q&A community models, then develops its own characteristics.The third part of the article includes chapter 4 and chapter 5, it is the key part of this article. A SWOT situation analysis of Zhihu’s development strategy is done at the present stage.Refer to the questionnaire survey of Zhihu, Guo kr Q&A, Tianya Q&A’s users.Analysis Zhihu and other Chinese social Q&A communities’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat from internal and external angles, figure out correspondence problems. Then put forward specific proposals to its improvement for content strategies, communication strategies and product development strategies.Communication strategies include communication based on topics and communication based on Q&A share etc.On product-line development strategies,we should use the content of the community’s accumulated development conforms to develop their own reading products and softwares,platform according to their own temperament, and the social products based on the community platform.The content strategies include creating content database, changing the present content type mainly by words,and producing content based on Chinese social Q&A community geographical characteristics.
