XX Power Conditioning System(PCS) is a complex system with high voltage and multi-component,so high reliability is necessary for PCS. Basing on the national '863' project, this thesis analyzes PCS' s reliability.First, this thesis presents the index system of PCS' s reliability, then brings forward the basic reliability model and mission reliability model of PCS. Moreover,I predict the MTBF of PCS,and assign its availability according to its characteristic. Finally,FMECA is used to identify the failure mode and effect of components on the system. At the same time,FTA is also applied to evaluate the reliability of PCS and analyze the importance of its components. Through the above reliability design and analysis, this thesis finds out the weakness and critical components of PCS,and gives some advices of failure prevention, maintenance and design improvement.Reliability test is an important part of reliability engineering. Due to the non-standardization of most of components in PCS,it is necessary to test and evaluate candidate components to ensure the reliability of PCS as a whole. In this thesis, the critical components of PCS are analyzed and tested in detail. I present the scheme of reliability qualification test of capacitors, furthermore, analyze the sampling inspection scheme theoretically for capacitors and put forward the proposals to improve this scheme. For most of components in PCS with high reliability or long lifecycle, which need great investment of time and material for their reliability tests, this paper provides a new and effective statistical method for this kind of components-the progressive stress accelerated life testing with exponential distribution.
