Based On WebGIS Geonetwork Inquiry Service System Design And Implementation

Surveying and Mapping Results is an important strategic information resources, in the government decision-making, the development of new industries, the improvement of living standards has played an increasingly important role. With the government decision-making scientific, national economic and social development information,and the continuous progress of building a harmonious society, all levels of government departments and public authorities, reliable increasing demand for geographic information services. An urgent need to achieve the online services for multi-scale , multi-type of surveying and mapping results of resource information,for the offline manner to provide customers with paper maps or basic geographic data has been unable to meet the quick access for the surveying and mapping results and the demand for integrated applications.In this paper, based on the actual business of the provide surveying and mapping results of Guangdong Province, design and development the GeoNetwork inquiry service system. The system is based on ArcGIS technology developed,the database build model by'Oralce + ArcSDE'spatial database model, development tools by Microsoft. NET, it has achieved the following functions, the basic map operations, regional location and query, coordinate locationand query, cache query, polygon query, the length,perimeter and area measurement, customer information management and user management,and so on.These functions provide the authoritative and reliable GeoNetwork information services for the government departments and general public,to provide the "One-Stop" online GeoNetwork inquiries.As the authoritative departments uses, the system provide the accurate, reliable and fast results of GeoNetwork information services for all levels of land and resource departments.It has changed the traditional and backward business query service status of surveying and mapping results, The system is in good condition since the trial operation, and praised by the leadership and community users.
