CNC technology is one of the cores of advanced manufacturing technology, it relates to the strategic position and industry levels of a country. As the machine tool developments towards high cutting speed, high feeding rate and high precision, the qualitiy of good static characteristics and excellent dynamic characteristics was needed, so be able to accurately predict and improve the dynamic characteristics of machine tool in the design stage is the most important qualifications to ensure quality, reduce costs and expand markets. The joint interface have enormous impacts on machine tool, so it's of great significance to research the impacts of joint interface on machine tool and how to use the fundamental parameters of joint interface to deal with CAD/CAM in order to improve the static and dynamic performance of machine tools and shorten the developing time.In this paper, It has illustrated the mechanism of joint interface impact on static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool; analyzed the structural characteristics of AVCP1200H CNC machining centersï¼›using the finite element software to establish the finite element model of the machine tool; calculated and then compared the natural frequencies and mode shapes of machine tool in consider and not consider the joint interface parameters conditions; analyzed the impacts of joint interface parameters on machine; Picked up the vibrating signal that was excited by vibrating equipment, Analyzing and processing this data to get natural frequency and vibration mode. The accuracy of the mode that was constructed by this paper was verified because the results that were analyzed by Ansys and get by modal test were consistent. And it was also verified that only take consideration of joint interface can correctly analyze the dynamic characteristics of machine tool. After analyze the impact of every joint interface on the dynamic characteristics of machine tool, identified the weak joint interface, and optimize these joint interfaces to improve the dynamic characteristics of machine tool.
