Feeder switch always plays an extremely important role in coal mine low-voltage grid, because it is one of important electric equipment which can guarantee safe operation of the coal mine power supply system. As the improvement of coal mine production mechanization, modernization, and to the attention for production safety, there is higher and higher requirement to performance and protection of low-tension feeder switch in coal mine. So, it is imperative to develop a more stable and more reliable feeder switch intelligent protector.This paper is developed a kind of intelligent protector of low-tension flameproof feeder switch based on DSP, it combines many protection, measurement and control, communication at an organic whole. Aiming at fault, overload fault, leakage faults and undervoltage, over voltage fault, this paper put forward the corresponding protection scheme. It adopt the wavelet analysis to diminish error. Consequently, the reliability and stability of protection has considerably improved.Intelligent protector adopts two CPU processor in hardware part. It by TMS320LF2407A as control core of measurement and control module, which according to the protection scheme formulated, collecting the corresponding electrical signal of the power, analysing, processing, making relevant protection, communicating with upper computer, and realizing real-time monitoring. It by Atmega128 as control core of management module, which completing the whole set of setting parameter, displaying control results and keepping real-time clock function. It through SPI serial communication to transmit information between two CPU, and by TMS320LF2407A internal CAN controller to communicate with upper computer.Intelligent protector adopts modularization design idea in software part, including the main program module, function module and communication module, and it has very good flexibility and portability. System takes various anti-disturbance measures in software and hardware to further improve the system stability and reliability.At last, the paper make a performance test to intelligent protector, and the results show that the protector works sensitive and reliable, and the design scheme of the system is rational and feasible.
