| Lots of tailings dumped in the storage will cause many problems such as covering lots of land , polluting the water and air, soil degradation,vegetation deterioration,etc. Because of the developing of processing technology, there are many elements in the tailings can be recovered. The recovery of the tailing will become the important way of making well use of the resource, and it is the necessary choice to develop economy and protect environment.Base on an on-the-spot investigation on the Lunan iron ore processing plant, we find that the tailings discharged by the magnetic separator and screened by high frequency screen has the recovering value. The quantity of discarding tailings is larger after processed by the 2# magnetic separator in scavenging plan, the purity of discarding tailings is very high, and the metal loss amount is very serious.Depending on the phase analysis and multielement analysis, we take the three stage processing practices as grinding,low intensity magnetic separation and high intensity magnetic separation to recover the tailings, we got the result as follows, the productivity of final fine iron ore is 0.89%, and the purity of the fine iron ore is 60.42%, the percent recovery is 4.72, meanwhile the productivity of the middling product is 38.78%, and the purity of the fine iron ore is 24.32 %, the percent recovery is 82.66. For the fine tailings, complexing the grinding state, intensity magnetic separation and high intensity magnetic separation to recover the tailings,we will have the result as follows, the productivity of final fine iron ore is 1.21%, and the purity of the fine iron ore is 60.05%, the percent recovery is 4.12%. If the low magnetism tailings separated by the strong intensity magnetic separation, we have the following result, the productivity of the middling product is 39.55%, and the purity of the fine iron ore is 30.31%, the percent recovery is 68.00.With the improvement of the processing practical in the scavenging plan, and adapting the complex processing technology, such as strong intensity magnetic separation, grinding processing, and strong intensity magnetic separation again, then low intensity magnetic separation, and grinding processing, and strong intensity magnetic separation again, and reverse flotation as the last stage to recover the tailing, for the investigation on flow path, the producitity of the final ore can be upgraded up 2.74%,the percent recovery can be upgraded up 6.50%, and the purity of the fine ore stone is same. The effect of the productivity and percent recovery is very good.Especially the success of the processing practical technology's improvement in scavenging plant that the purity of fine ore can reach up to at least 65%,meanwhile the processing flow is simplified, the concentration indexes is also increased. The plant also get the substantial economic benefits and social effect. This investigation and test will play a guide role to study at recovering refractory iron tailings stone and improve the processing flow in the processing plant. After finishing the processing technology at the scavenging plan, the equipment cost will be back within 33 days, the daily product profit can reach up to CNY 12.06 RMB per day. We account 330 days per-year,the annual income can reach up CNY 39,784,800RMB. The economical performance is very obvious. The experiments indicate that using high-intensity magnetic to discarding trailings is technologically feasible. It provides a theory guide of small particle reverse flotation of difficult separation iron ore. |
