AS the first important equipment group and the first production technologic, the quality of the press line have a directly effect on the forming character, quality and production cost of the outside part on the vehicle, it decide the market competition and market life of the vehicle.The article based on Kuka robot and research of the press line with robot automation system. The master-slave communication and interface system diagram are designed according to the request of the equipments running in the press line with robot automation. Have researched the Profibus network configuration and design about the hardware and software of the press line with robot automation which is based on the explain about the communication, composing,data link layer and message construction of the Profibus. Finally, completed optimizing the design of the communication network and passed the commissioning on the production line, after that analyzed the reasons of affecting the network communication and raise some improvement methods.The main content as follow:(1)Expatiated the basic contents such as construction, messages, type and network configuration of the Profibus communication protocol completed the network configurating and programming of the master-slave station based on the Profibus.(2) Introduced the structure and equipment of the press line with robot automation. Designed the control project and master-slave communication (with cp5614 communication card) between robots and PLC according to the main technique target of the press automation system.(3) Tested the communication of the network and analyzed the main reasons that affected the network communication. Then raised some basic methods, improvement methods and prevention methods about optimizing the signal of the network.As above, the researching of the article is benefit to the development of robot on the press automation system. It builded a good examanition platform for robot control system and have an important science meaning and practicality.
