With the improvement of living standards, the concept of people's aesthetic gradually changed to diversification. Fitting raglan sleeve garments get more and more people's love and attention. This paper researches on fitting raglan sleeves structure and pattern automatically generation by social investigation, basic theory research, experimental design, data analysis and so on, focuses on the balance between dynamic comfort and static aesthetics, and finally establishes a automatically generation system of fitting raglan sleeve pattern. The main contents of this research are as follows:(1)Study on the structure of human arm and its static and dynamic characteristics, and analysis design principles of women's fitting raglan sleeve structure and fitting raglan sleeve pattern. By analysis, that axillaries point before have a great influence to static aesthetics and dynamic comfort of body and sleeves. And the axillaries point before is reflected on intersection of body and sleeve of fitting raglan sleeves. And also tilt angle of sleeve center line has a great influence to aesthetics and comfort of raglan sleeves. So this paper ascertain intersection of body and sleeve and tilt angle of sleeve center line as the key variables of women's fitting raglan sleeve structure.(2)For a more in-depth analysis of relationships between intersection of body and sleeves and overall dynamic comfort and static aesthetics of fitting raglan sleeves, this paper designs intersection of body and sleeve and tilt angle of sleeve center line as experimental variables. The first experiment carries out a priori to determine the range of intersection of body and sleeve. Then a formal experiment to determine an experimental program of making 15 women's fitting raglan sleeve garments and carries out the experiment. The 15 women's fitting raglan sleeve garments are of different angles and different positions.(3)Established Static and dynamic evaluation system and carry out static and dynamic evaluation experiments and objective and subjective evaluation of the 15 samples. Set 5 indicators of static aesthetics and 10 indicators of dynamic comfort and collected data of 15 indicators of dynamic and static by wear experiment.(4)This paper use Multivariate analysis of variance, Cluster analysis, Principal component analysis and so on to conduct Effectiveness test to the data and analysis the data. And use fuzzy mathematics method to sort aesthetics and comfort of the 15 samples.(5)Based on the above analysis, this paper establishes the regression model of intersection of body and sleeve, tilt angle of sleeve center line and dynamic comfort, static aesthetics. The regression model achieved to use intersection of body and sleeve and tilt angle of sleeve center line as structure parameters to predict effects of static and dynamic balance of samples. Finally the paper conducts the regression model test by making a sample and the results show model is about right.(6) Finally, the paper describes function tools of MATLAB to implement automatic generation of the pattern, research and analysis their principles and construct interpolating function and fit function of automatic generation system of the pattern using GUI of MATLAB based on the tools and above regression models. This paper establishes automatic generation system of the pattern of fitting raglan sleeves. The system can get the pattern of fitting raglan sleeves as long as the independent variable values within the parameters, and also output two important parameters of raglan sleeve structure:sleeve cap height and bicep.This study enriches existing theory and practice, explores a method of fitting raglan sleeve structure matching design and provides a more viable and scientific approach for research of fitting raglan sleeve structure and automatic generation of pattern. According to survey, similar study has not been reported in this special field, so it is a innovation and has great academic value and practical value and will be useful and helpful for further study.
