The Study Of Quality Management In Textile Laboratory Of A Fiber Inspection Institute

Carrying out effective quality management is the important means to guarantee management and technical level of a laboratory. Laboratory should fully recognize the importance of quality management. Through the implementation of total quality management, to improve the level of management and overall quality of a laboratory continuously, so as to improve the quality of work, meet customer and quality requirements of the approved specifications.As a textile testing organization of government quality and technical supervision department, Textile laboratory of A Fiber Inspection Institute is a institutional unit, established and developed during the planned economy in China. It played an effective role on the integrated management and administrative law enforcement supervision functions of government quality and technology supervision system. But with the development of international trade and reform of the economic and research system, it has more and more problems highlighted:lack of systems of quality management system and experience, low productivity, low test level, poor market adaptability, competitive differential. In order to Exerting Fully Function of the government textile testing organization, and qualified for it's roles in the new situation, The laboratory must be perfect as soon as possible with international standards of quality detection system, raise the level of quality management, consolidate it's advantages, fill the capability gap, imply inspection services for domestic textile enterprises.This research paper is based on the serious investigation and careful evidence to Textile laboratory of A Fiber Inspection Institute. The author wrote it with the quality management of knowledge what she leaned. The study is targeting at the quality management system of the textile laboratory, analysis the present quality of the lab, means to identify existing problems during the lab's quality control process and analysis the cause of the problem, considerate and discussed how to strengthen quality control and raise the level of quality management, ultimate provides a means to improve problem in theory. Firstly, the paper describes the background, significance, research idea and the related literature review. Then, beginning with quality management system and process quality control, applications of statistical analysis method, the author investigated the current situation and organized and summarized main problems in laboratory quality management. And then, analysis reasons of the problems through validation process and quality system elements such as personnel, equipment, materials, methods, and environment, finds all t the end factors, uses on-site investigations, field-proven, field measurement and analysis methods to ensure important issues. After that, using of target management tools, the author sets quality objectives to improve the textile laboratory quality management, followed specific on which significant, quality system elements, develop specific countermeasures on several aspects of quality system elements, and inspection business process. Three months after the introduction of improved measures, the author uses two kinds of comparison which are quality indicator and time column chart to verify effects of quality improving. Finally, the author carried out conclusion, prospected future issues to be further research and follow-up work of this research.
