With the TSCR (thin slab casting and rolling) techniques become more sophisticated, 0.8mm to 3.0mm thin gauge hot-rolled plate production has begun to take shape, their specification has also meet on part of standard for automobile stamping steel. Use the same specification hot-rolling sheet by TSCR instead of cold-rolling products as the car plate stamping raw materials, which becomes the core of the subject "HRS Substituting CRS". Because of its short process and energy saving features, the products by this technology will bring enormous economic benefits for the manufacturers and users, it has a broad promotion prospects. However, taking into account the hot-rolling products and cold-rolling products of differences in forming, whether successful implementation to "HRS Substituting CRS" also need a large number of experiments and research work.In this paper, it is using the hot-rolling sheet SPHE by the FTSR technology from Tangshan Iron and Steel as experimental material, taking the formability study of SPHE in auto inner-parts stamping production by a combination method of experimental and numerical simulation. The research results will provide the theoretical and experimental basis for the feasibility of "HRS Substituting CRS". The main work and the conclusions are as follows:(1) Drawing the conclusion by the analysis of mechanical properties for SPHE , and combined with cold and hot rolling plate between chemical composition and simulation experiment results formability: the chemical composition of hot-rolling plats SPHE and general stamping cold rolling are basically the same, the formability is slightly worse than cold-rolled plate, but its formability parameters have been consistent with the requirements of sheet metal stamping auto-parts standard.(2) The results of actual and numerically simulation with using finite element software Dynaform about auto inner-parts show that hot-rolling plate SPHE can be well satisfy to the simple forming productions with bending and slight stretching bulging, and it can be the alternative materials of general deep drawing cold-rolling plate ST13 for trial production in the productions of complex auto-inner parts.(3) It has taken a new fast and accurate way for manufacturers to select the appropriate performance parameters according to productions by the method of combination with orthogonal design and numerical simulation technology. Through the design of experiment and the simulation results show that, this method can rapidly accurately and completely get the influence of material factors on the forming and optimize the best material parameters. At the same time, it can provide a improved direction for upstream steel manufacturers to optimize the plate of "HRS Substituting CRS" for the most for stamping sheet metal of automobile parts.
