| Background:Chronic Renal failure (CRF) refers to the clinical syndrom including a series of compositions and metabolic disorders caused by irreversible progressive reduction of renal function,even function loss.With the progress of Chronic Renal Failure, patients may get more performance of systemic damage. The end-stage renal failure (ESRF) patients mainly rely on the renal replacement therapy. While the high costs of the treatment bring heavy burden to society and the family. Therefore, the emphasis on conservative renal replacement therapy before treatment (non-dialysis therapy) is vital to retard the progress of renal failure, reduce the morbidity and mortality, improve the quality of life of patients and economize the health care costs, which is also with particular practical significance for the developing countries like our country.The clinical treatments include changes of lifestyle, diet therapy, antihypertensive therapy, proteinuria reduction, correction of metabolic acidosis, maintenance of the balance of water and electrolyte, improvement of lipid metabolism, enhancement of anticoagulation and microcirculation, removal of the factors to accelerate progress in renal dysfunction. It is proved that the treatment of Chinese drug has a significant clinical effect, especially the rhubarb, Chinese caterpillar fungus and others. Professor Yuanzhang Yao obtained notable effects on treating the of chronic renal insufficiency by adopting addition and subtraction of Shengning Mixture.To prove its efficacy, we have carried out researches of this subject.Research Purpose:Using SNM as the research drug to treat the RAT model with CRF, to discover the mechanisms of the SNM protecting the renal.Research Method:The clinical research divided the rat models with CRF (in the decompensated stage) into two groups, therapy group and control group randomly. SNM is used on therapy group and no drug is used on control group. The therapeutic period is three months. To observe the influence of the SNM to the major molecular of decompensated CRF renal fibrosis TGF-βthe changes of liver function and creatinine, and compare the curative effect. The research divided the 80 animals into two groups, therapy group and control group. To make decompensated CRF model with adenine combined therapy (method see another article) and intervention with different drugs is applied to both groups. Drugs are stopped on both groups on the 21st day and the models are fed normally till they are killed and inspected on the 29th day.Research Result:1,Immunohistochemical method shows that TGF-β1mRNA positive products exist in renal interstitial and glomerulus. Renal interstitial reactions are stronger than those in glomerulus. The intensive in treatment group is weaker than control group.2,Hybridization method shows that TGF-β1mRNA positive products widely exist in renal tubular and glomerulus. Reaction amount in treatment group is more than control group.3,Both serum creatinine and urea nitrogen decrease (P<0.05).Conclusion:1,SNM has the basic theory and clinical basis.2,SNM plays an important role in renal cells hyperplasia, hypertrophy, apoptosis and local and whole body immune reaction. 3,SNM has renal protection function on rat models with CRF (in the decompensated stage). |
