Objective:To observe the different effects among different doses of ginger-separated moxibustion for acute hyperlipemia model rats on levels of blood lipid, local temperature, variation of the local tissues and the dose-effect relationship.Methods:72 adult male, Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:blank control group (A),hyperlipemia model group (B), lovastatin intragastric administration group (C), ginger-separated moxibustion for 3 zhuang group (D3), ginger-separated moxibustion for 6 zhuang group (D6) and ginger-separated moxibustion for 9 zhuang group (D9) with 12 in each group. Except blank control group, mise in other 5 groups were Intraperitoneal injecting 75%yolk galact to estsblish acute hyperlipemia models, and given propotional therapies or nothing cute on the same day. We use chromatography method to test the serum cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein(LDL), high density lipoprotein(HDL) after 3 times of therapies. Estimate the local tissues by using HE staining method; To choose 3 rats in each ginger-separated moxibustion group randomly, totally 9 to observe the chang of the temperature on the local points. Results:A significant decreace (P<0.05) in TC and LDL and a significant increace in HDL occurred in rats that were cuted with drugs and ginger-separated moxibustion, and it seemed like that 3 zhuang moxibustion is better in increasing HDL and 9 zhuang moxibustion is better in decreacing LDL and TC, although the differences among D groups were not significant in all the indexs, The D groups were all lower in compared with hyperlipemia model rats on the level of TG, but they did not attain statistical significance; The maximal surface temperatures of Shenque and Housanli among three different quantities of ginger-separated moxibustion were different. The maximal temperatures of 6 zhuang group and 9 zhuang group were both significantly higher than that of 3 zhuang group. (P<O.01), while there was no statistical significance between 6 zhuang group and 9 zhuang group, When ginger-separated moxibustion completed, it showed no statistical significance in surface temperatures (terminal temperatures) of two acupoints among the three groups;Conclusion:Ginger-separated moxibustion is effective to regulate the abnormal levels of blood lipid, but the effects were different by using different zhuang on different indexs;Stimulation of different quantities of moxibustion is an important factor affecting acupoint local temperature, while the thermal effect of ginger-separated moxibustion in different acupionts shows a relatively consistent law; With the increase of the Ginger-separated moxibustion, the damage of the local tissues was more severe.
