[Objective]:observe the curative effect for Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy with Eight half-locks treatment, and compare the treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy with traditional massage control group, observe the VAS score, activity score, cervical nerve root type CSR symptom score before and after treatment. This issue focuses on discussing the advantages, feasibility and clinical significance of research of eight half-locks therapy for CSR to provide some new treatment methods for clinical patients to choice.[Method]:60 cases of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy patients were from the Hubei Province Hospital of TCM, Massage Section, 24 males and 36 females, aged 19 to 59 years, average 37.25 years old. All patients had no obvious history of trauma, duration of 1 week to 2 years, average 23.53 weeks, in line with the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Using random number table to divide 30 cases of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy into treatment group and control group randomly,30 patients in each group. The treatment group with the Qinglong lock and the Fanhun lock of eight half-locks therapy, ten minutes of the Qinglong lock, which means four peg-leg fingers close together, and relative force with the thumb, using the outer edge of the index finger of the first two knuckles and the outer edge of the thumb to squeeze the shoulder of the trapezius muscle. According to the tolerance level of patients, push twist, unlock the shoulders at the same time.ten minutes of the Fenhun lock, which means holding patients forearm with one hand to make it abduce, the other hand unlocked the axillary of the patients (First, the Pectoralis major, second, latissimus dorsi, axillary nerve tissue at last). The duration of treatment is 1-4 courses,5 times a week as a course of treatment. The control group treated with conventional massage. The duration of treatment is 1-4 courses,5 times a week as a course of treatment. Before and after the treatment, pain VAS score, cervical activity score,CSR symptom score of all patients were observed and recorded. Data were statistical analysised with SPSS17.0 statistical software[Results]:The effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%, the control group was 83.3%, there were no significant differences (P>0.05),which means the Eight half-locks treatment was as effective as the traditional massage group. The treatment group's a course of effective rate 53.33% was better than the control group 23.3%; after two courses of treatment the effective rate of treatment group was 83.3% which was betterthan the control group' 53.3%, there were significant differences (P<0.05). The treatment group was faster than the control group. Through statistical analysis, the difference of VAS pain score, activity score and CSR symptom score before and after treatment statistically significant difference (P<0.05). That the treatment group did more improvement than the control group on Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy[Conclusion]:Eight half-locks treatment of cervicalspondylotic radiculopathy was more effective than the regular massage therapy, faster, and a greater degree of improvement in symptoms, which was worthy of clinical application.
