1. Literature ReviewsVertigo in traditional Chinese medicine is a sort of disease that its main symptoms involve in dizziness with dazzle,vertigo, unsteady standing and falling to the ground.It is often accompanied by tinnitus,weakness,nausea,and vomiting. The pathogenesis of vertigo is thought to be related to fire, Phlegm, wind, defieieney of qi, blood, yin and yang in TCM.Early as Neijing time, there was abundant recordation of the Pathogenesis Of vertigo in the book. In HanDynasty, ZhangZhongjing elaborated a lot about It in Shanghanlun and Jinkuiyaolue.Later many practitioners supplemented Constantly and gradually were divided into many schools, focusing on different Causes including wind, phlegm, fire, asthenia or excess or mixture.Vertigo etiology is complex, involving more than 100 kinds of diseases, western medicine usually uses symptomatic treatment, but they often have many side effects(such as Parkinson's, dementia, carsick, seasick, etc.).besides that, these clinics have not got the good effect. The etiology of dizziness, usually with mental factors during its outbreak patients also often have mental problems. This has not caused in treatment enough attention.2.BackgroundVertigo is a common symptom.It maybe involved in many diseases and often Not easy to find out its real causes.Vertigo could be the indicator of serious diseases, especially in cerebral vaseular diseases, sometimes leading to disability or even death.So it needs proper attention and treatment.However, the treatments of vertigo are insuffieient and not perfeet, remaining some problems.There are abundant experiences about treatment of vertigo in TCM.2.Methods:Select the patients with the dizzy of tanzhuo from March 2008 to Febury 2011.Survey general information, personal history.past medical history, physical and chemical indexes, DHI and syndrome.etc.3.Results:The study involved patients the dizzy of tanzhuo total 57,male 28(49.12%), female 29(50.88%),Among the 57 patients who fit to the selcet criterion and exelusion criterion,28 cases were male(50.12%), and 29 cases were female.The ratio of male and female was almost 1:1.The age of the patients was from 25 to 88 years old.There were 1 cases from20 to 29year-old, 3cases from 30 to 39year-old,8cases from40 to 49year- old,12 cases from50 to59year-old,18 cases from60 to 69year-old,12 cases from70 to 79year-old,3 cases were above 80year-old.According to our study, more than 50 per patients had distraetedness symptom.Over 50 per patients suffered from dizzy, vertigo, poor memory nervous and Head sink.,40 to 50 per cases had symptoms such as tinnitus, mouth bitter.insomnia, easy tired and neck stiff.Another symtoms were below 30%.The most accompanied disease was hearing impairment (41.07%).and the second was hypertension its percentage was 25.0%, and the third was coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(10.71%),other diseases were below 10%. According to our study, compared with control group,the Huatanjiangnizhiyun Fang can obviously improve the clinical symptoms(above vertigo degree) and life function, emotion and psychological situation.4.Conclusions:This clinical study results show that, compared with control group, Huatanjiangnizhiyun Fang could obviously decrease the sputum turbidity type vertigo patients of cases, and dizziness degree of life function, emotion and psychological situation were obviously improved, but for duration and attack without obvious improvement. The frequency shall continue to improve, or taking prescriptions and western treatments, to obtain better clinical effect. This topic of smaller sample size, income limitations for patients with large scope of influencing factors of the possible correlation studies influence, but also needs further improvement.
