| Objective:To Investigate the difference of plasma fibrinogen between patients with lung cancer and normal control group, and to explore the clinical significance of changes in plasma fibrinogen and plasma D-dimer after interventional treatment.Materials and methods:1. Patient Selection:23 patients with lung cancer were all hospitalized patients pursuing interventional treatment. There were 16 males and 7 females, aged 45-75 years, mean age 63.5 years. All patients were diagnosed by pathology or cytology. Patients with heart, kidney, other lung diseases, diabetes and other underlying diseases were excluded. The normal control group was composed of 27 healthy volunteers, including 15 males,12 females, aged 30-74 years, mean age 50.4 years.2. Methods of treatment:All patients were treated with the bronchial artery infusion chemotherapy. The chemotherapy regimen was determined based mainly on histological type, All patients tolerated the treatment.3. Measurement of Plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer:All enrolled patients with lung cancer were measured plasma FIB and D-dimer before interventional therapy. Plasma FIB and D-dimer of the patients would be measured again in the interval between the second and third interventional procedure. Measurement method: Plasma FIB value was measured by coagulation theory. When there is a high concentration of thrombin, clotting time of Diluted test plasma levels is inversely proportional to its FIB. Blood D-dimer were tested by immunogold filtration assay principle.4. Statistical Methods:All statistical data are measurement data, and to be expressed as mean±standard deviation (x±s). Plasma FIB was compared pairwise matching, Chi-square test was used. Wilconxon test was used in the D-D test of significance due to variance missing of the data. All data were analyzed using spss16.0 software. Differences of P<0.05 were considered to be statistically significant.Result:1.Plasma FIB comparison between patients with lung cancer before Intervention treatment and the normal control group:Plasma FIB value of patients before intervention treatment(4.94±0.39)was significantly higher than that of the normal control group (2.86±0.09) (P<0.05).2. Plasma FIB comparison between patients with lung cancer before and after Intervention therapy:Plasma FIB before intervention therapy(4.94±0.39) was significantly higher than that after intervention therapy (2.93±0.11) (P<0.05).3. Plasma FIB comparison between patients with lung cancer after Intervention therapy and the normal control group:the difference of plasma FIB value of the group after intervention (2.93±0.11) and normal control group (2.86±0.09)was not significant.4. Plasma D-D comparison between patients with lung cancer before and after Intervention therapy:Plasma D-D Value of the group before intervention therapy (0.87±0.26) was significantly higher than that after intervention therapy (0.16±0.02) (P<0.05).Conclusion:Changes of plasma FIB and D-dimer in Lung cancer patients was significantly correlated with the severity of the disease and the effect of interventional therapy. The detection method is simple, fast, accurate, and sensitive, which can be used as a very meaningful indicator of interventional therapy. |
