| Objective: To analyze the relationship between the levels of serum interleukin-17(IL-17),plasma D-dimer(D-D)and fibrinogen(FIB)and clinical characteristics in patients with advanced lung cancer, and to investigate the clinical significance of the changes of the levels in occurrence, development and evaluation of the initial curative effect of chemotherapy as well as the correlation between the three factors. Methods: Patients in the lung cancer group had advanced lung cancer and were performed histopathologic diagnosis, radiological staging and chemotherapy.People in the control group were physical examination center healthy subjects in corresponding period.3ml peripheral venous blood was taken from every subject in both groups one day before the first and third cycles of chemotherapy. The serum level of IL-17 of the patients was measured by cytometric bead array(CAB),and the plasma D-D and FIB were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:(1)Compared with control group, the levels of IL-17,D-D and FIB in lung cancer group increased significantly(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference in the levels of IL-17,D-D and FIB between lung cancer patients of different gender, ages and pathological patterns in the lung cancer group(P > 0.05).(2)Compared with phase III,the levels of IL-17,D-D and FIB in phase IV increased significantly in lung cancer group(P< 0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that IL-17 in lung cancer group with D-D,IL-17 with FIB,D-D with FIB were positively correlated, and the correlation coefficients were 0.31,0.64 and 0.45,respectively,P < 0.05.(3)According to the evaluation criteria of the chemotherapeutic effect, patients in lung cancer group were divided into PR(partial remission)group,SD(stability)group and PD(progress)group.Compared with before chemotherapy, after 2 cycles of chemotherapy, the levels of IL-17,D-D and FIB decreased significantly in PR group(P< 0.01),increased significantly in PD group(P< 0.01)and had no significant change in SD group(P > 0.05).The results of multivariate linear regression analysis of the curative effect evaluation showed that with the increase of the levels of IL-17,D-D and FIB before and after treatment, the score of curative effect evaluation decreased and showed negative linear trend, which was of statistical significance(P<0.05).The ROC curve of curative effect evaluation showed that the areas under the curve of IL-17,D-D and FIB were 0.91,0.90 and 0.87,respectively.Conclusion:(1)The three rising indicators of IL-17,D-D,FIB were correlated with the stages of advanced lung cancer, the later the stages were, the more obvious the increase was.(2)The level changes of IL-17,D-D,FIB were negatively correlated with the efficacy of initial chemotherapy. They provide reference in aspect of evaluating the initial therapeutic effect. |
