On The Thought Of Lukacs's Materialization Theory

In probing into Lukacs's Materialization Theory, this thesis has mainly taken approach of considering interpretation of text and summarization of philosophy history comprehensively. This thesis makes an exploration into the three aspects of theoretical background of the pregnant-birth of Lukacs's Materialization Theory, consisting of Lukacs's reflective criticism of market-society of exchange, criticism of the historic determinism and positivism of the Second International, and conscious introspection of relevant thoughts of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Max Weber, Georg Simmel and Karl Heinrich Marx. On the basis of analyzing similarities and differences of concepts of Lukacs's Materialization and Marx's Alienation, this thesis mainly explained logical structure and basic contents of Lukacs's Materialization Theory, including internal relationship among Materialization and totality, Materialization and Dialectic of history, Materialization and Class Consciousness, and intends to systematically study Lukacs's Materialization Theory, and further to reveal the real meaning of philosophical methodology. After Lukacs, critics such as M. Max Horkheimer, Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno, Henri Lefebvre had separately made criticism and exploration and transcending of Materialization through instrumental reason, popular culture, conceptual fetishism and everyday life, deepened and enlarged the new horizon of criticism of Materialization.
