This paper selected college students as subjects, using questionnaires and easestudy methods, according to behavioral addiction theory and literature, openquestionnaire, interview survey, using of scientific statistics and measurementmethods to prepare mobile phone dependence questionnaire for college students. Andthen used questionnaires such as the self-esteem table, the social support scale andmobile phone dependence questionnaire, investigated the present situation of mobilephone dependence in college students, and the relationship between self-esteem andsocial support and the mobile phone dependence. Then we use Group counseling onthe mobile phone dependence. We expect to find what factors affecting mobile phonedependence and explore the effective intervention. The results of our research are asfollowing:1,The mobile phone dependence questionnaire for college students had13items,including three main factors: forced, withdrawal, conflict. Cumulative contributionrate:63.27%.Scale Cronbachα0.84, three dimension Cronbachαbetween0.70~0.81.The questionnaire shows good content validity, and the date fit the questionnairestructure model. RMSEA=0.072,IFI,CFI,NFI,GFI are between0.901~0.945.Eachdimension was moderate,0.311~0.632,and less than dimension of the correlationbetween the score and total sore,0.763~0.878.Questionnaire shows good reliabilityand validity.2,In general, mobile phone dependence score showed a normal distribution.According to statistical standards and experience, higher then the48score is mobilephone dependent, accounting for7.07%of the sample. In mobile phone dependentcollege students, the psychological conflict is stronger then the damage in real life. Ingender, men and women are not significant differences. In grade, there was significantdifferences between the first grade and third grade.3,The mobile phone dependence and self-esteem and social support and itsdimension of objective support, degree of utilization of support has a significantnegative correlation, but subjective social support, Mobile phone dependence score were divided into the sore-high group and the score-low group. The results show thatlower self-esteem, lower social support and lower the objective support and utilizationof support in the score-high group, and the two group have significant difference, butsubjective social support. Stepwise multiple regression analysis found that self-esteemand objective support can predict the mobile phone dependence(p<0.001,p<0.01),canexplain the variation of4.5%. This is a weak predictor for mobile phone dependence.The students who are low self-esteem and lack of objective support are easier todependent on mobile phones.4,The behaviorism group counseling can improve the mobile phone dependence incollege students.
