the literature in Wei, Jin, South and North dynasties occupied an important position in the development of literature, which was in a self-awareness era of literature. Freed from the restraint of scriptures in Han Dynasty, the literati discovered their self, passion, desire and personality, pursuing personalized composition, which could be seen from impassioned Jian'an Literature that focused on affection and personality, to traditional literature that expressed bosom of people, then to Xi Jin Literature that was made up of meditation, gorgeous and dispirited, mountain and water, and Royal Genres. The real literature composition groups were formed in such a period. the literati and literary celebrities often got together in public or private places, having feasts, and chanting poems. such activities were most held by the authority in a large scale, which were imitated by later literati, chanting and making collections, and were held frequently. No matter whether it was a feast, sightseeing, celebration for achievements, saying farewell, or even a condolence, articles and collections were usually produced. these composition activities sponsored by the literati spontaneously was an eminent literary phenomenon in the development of literature history of Wei, Jin, North and South Dynasties. through the research on this phenomenon, the overall perspective of the literature in these dynasties could be detected. Furthermore, the early collections of poems were closely connected with the rally of men of letters to some extent. This paper attempts to make up and confirmed the rallies in such periods, hoping that it could serve as a modest spur to arouse the scholars' attention.
