Outdoor survival training is mainly in the field of natural environments, so it is with a certain degree of risk. This study confers into university students field training for existence from the perspective of risk management as an entry point. Through the identification of risk factors, assessment, and risk response method proposed system, and risk management system is built on the basis of risk pre-alarm systems and risk management program. This study is used logical analysis, interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics method, to explore the main subjects about students in the field survival training risks, including work at the frontline positions of teachers and related areas of research experts, surveys and interviews collate the results and statistics. The research drew the following conclusions:1. Using of existing documents as well as the case of casualties of university students field training for existence were analyzed and discussed; then, the literature on the collection of information and findings are classified order, and according to "Risk Students source field survival training" to prepare "Survival Training College Students Risk Checklist", and ultimately determine the sources of risk university students field training for existence, including the risk of living environment, students and teachers risk their own risk.2. Students survival training in the field of risk assessment is mainly used a list of sorting and Pareto analysis. Survival training students in the field by the risk of the possibility, severity and control assessment, to understand the characteristics of the various risk factors. Sorting through the list, followed by the top eight is that the risk of storms, landslides, forests and other climate anomalies or complicated geographical conditions, lack of security awareness or self-help capabilities, lack of risk awareness or poor emergency response, physical injury, tired, self-management ability, field survival skills, weak, lack of proper risk management plan. Through Pareto analysis, a total of 16 risk factors belong to type A factor; B class factor 3, and other factors are C class. The evaluated results of two assessment methods is consistent, complementary and mutual authentication.3. Risk management process of students survival training in the field is divided into risk identification, risk assessment, risk response in three stages. Among the rest, risk identification, including the training of outdoor survival characteristics, population category, the environment, site identification and management; of risk assessment is divided into the content and methods; risk response; risk response is including prevention and risk control.4. Risk management programs and risk pre-alarm system are built on the basis of the risk management system about students survival training in the field in for forecasting, judging, dealing with activities of the risk factors for students survival training in the field at any time, then prevention of accidents, and an appropriate balance the relationship between risk and control.
