High School composition teaching should respect students' subject status, getting students involved in the whole writing process. The paper first analyzes the present situation of the loss of students' subject status in high school composition teaching, including the similarity in teaching methods, the absence of students' group intelligence and the disregard for students' individual difference. Then the root causes of the loss of students' subject status are exposed:outmoded teaching ideas, the immaturity of students' psychological mechanism and some other external factors.The main part of the paper, based on class oral communication, discussed the approaches to constructing students' subject status from four angles:widening the thought through brain storming; constructing writing blueprint through group interaction; commenting within group; perfection students writing skill through self modification. Besides, it also analyzes the evaluation criteria of students' subject status in composition teaching class to ensure that students can become masters in composition class. |
